Passport_iconAlberta students to acquire digital literacy skills through new online game

Media Awareness Network is pleased to announce Alberta Education has licensed its award-winning interactive game – Passport to the Internet: Student tutorial for Internet literacy (Grades 4-8). The resource is now available to 1,800 elementary and middle schools in the province.

National Nutrition MonthNational Nutrition Month

National Nutrition Month, held in March, aims to raise public awareness of healthy eating and the importance of making informed food choices. MNet has a number of resources that help familiarize children and youth with the marketing techniques used in food advertising in the media, and the ways in which advertising can affect their food choices.
