Northwest Territories Outcome Chart: English Language Arts - Grade 3

This outcome chart contains media-related learning outcomes from the Northwest Territories, Grade 3 English Language Arts curriculum, with links to supporting resources on the Media Awareness Network site.

It is expected that students will:

Listen, Speak, Read, Write, View and Represent to Access and Explore Prior Knowledge and Experiences of Self and Others
  • Describe observations made through oral, print, and other media texts
  • Explain and collect examples of text preferences
  • Explore personal and other's opinions and understandings
